Lansky - Diamond Sharpener D-SHARP
Lansky D-SHARP is a pocket-sized diamond-ceramic sharpener with two gradations and 4 most common sharpening angles.
D-SHARP is a worthy successor to the popular QuadSharp model. In addition to the color difference, the D-Sharp model uses 4 popular sharpening angles and abrasive surfaces with two gradations 600 and 800.
Slotted whetstones use a 600 gradation for working sharpness, and for quick sharpening of slightly dulled cutting edges. The oblong ceramic stone has a gradation of 800 and is used for polishing smooth and serrated blades.
The forced-angle sharpener makes the sharpening process much easier and faster. This functionality will be especially appreciated by people with no experience in sharpening and anyone who wants to restore the sharpness of their tool in a short time in field conditions.
The manufacturer used the most popular angles, which allow sharpening a very extensive group of tools:
- - 17° angle for sharpening scalpels, razors and filleting knives,
- - 20° angle for sharpening kitchen knives, pocket knives and folding knives,
- - 25° angle for sharpening edc, hunting and survival knives,
- - 30° angle for sharpening axes, machetes and tools for heavy work.
Compact metal housing design for convenient portability, and durability against mechanical damage. The body of the sharpener has a hole for attaching a snap hook or safety cable.
