Katadyn Hiker Pro filter removes microorganisms from water, sediments, bacteria and protozoa, in addition, a core of activated carbon absorbs chemicals and pesticides, improving taste and smell.

The Katadyn Hiker Pro water filter is very durable and takes up little space. The heart of the Swiss HikerPro filter is a glass fiber filter cartridge, whose small holes reaching 0.2 microns allow to get rid of sediments and unwanted organisms from water.

Katadyn Hiker Pro water filter works on the principle of a pump with a capacity of 1 liter per minute. One of the hoses is inserted into the water source. The end of this hose contains a prefilter that initially cleans the water of dirt. For this model, it is connected via a quick-connect coupler. The second hose allows the purified water to be poured into bottles and water containers.
