Ka-Bar knife 5017 - USMC The Legend - GFN Sheath
Certainly the most famous knife in the world - the original Ka-Bar 1217 USMC version 5017, with a composite sheath. It was created for the U.S. Army during World War II.
To this day, in a little-changed version, it performs very well in both civilian and military applications. It has earned the name of a cult knife thanks to its great versatility of applications and perfectly selected materials.
The knife is made from a single piece of high-quality Cro-Van 1095 steel. The smooth blade with its distinctive Clip Point shape, shallow bevel and embossed letters "USMC" has been coated with a black anti-reflective coating.
The handle is made of pressure-pressed pieces of buffalo leather. A steel hilt protects the hand from slipping on the blade.
The set includes a scabbard for the knife made of durable GFN-PA66 composite (fiberglass-doped nylon) in black.
The knife was made in the USA.
