Ka-Bar 1317 - Dog's Head Utility Knife
Dog's Head Utility Knife is a close cousin of one of the world's most famous knives - the original Ka-Bar 1217 USMC Fighting/Utility knife. It is an excellent alternative for those wishing to purchase this knife in a less military edition.
It is characterized by versatility of applications and perfectly selected materials from which it was made. It will be perfect for survival, daily camp work and hunting.
The knife is made from a single piece of high-quality Cro-Van 1095 steel. Smooth blade with distinctive Clip Point shape with shallow, hand-cut armor features embossed KA-BAR and Dog's Head Pirate logos. For protection against corrosion and glare, it was covered with a matte black coating.
The handle is made of pressure-pressed pieces of buffalo leather. A steel hilt protects the hand from slipping on the blade. At the end of the handle is an enlarged, sintered powdered head.
The set includes a scabbard made of brown buffalo leather with the Dog's Head Pirate logo.
