Ka-Bar 1281 - D2 Extreme Utility Knife - Eagle Sheath

The strongest version of the Ka-Bar Utility Knife made of incredibly durable D2 steel. This material, which is designed for the production of high-end knives, has excellent cutting properties and at the same time keeps its sharpness for a very long time. A special hardening process resulted in a blade hardness of 59-60 HRC.

For glare protection, the partially serrated head has been coated with a protective coating. The blade has a distinctive Cip Point shape and shallow armor.

The handle was made of non-slip Kraton G thermoplastic material, so the knife fits great even in a wet or dirty hand. A steel hilt protects the hand from slipping on the blade.

The set includes a tactical Eagle Sheath type sheath. It was made of Cordura and has a reinforced kydex insert inside. The pouch is fastened with two snaps and has a pocket for a whetstone.
