A machete from the new Survival Series kA-BAR products made made of one piece of 1085 carbon steel covered with black protective coating. The kukri type blade is ideal for heavy use field work, such as cutting bushes, branches, grasses and even the binding of game.
In addition, the appropriate thickness of the blade and the transfer of the the center of gravity to the front of the blade makes cutting easier.
Handle made of thermoplastic material, thanks to which it lies perfectly even in wet or soiled hand.
Complete with a sheath made of leather and cordura.
Sharpening and maintenance. Don't make the tool too dull. Sharpen your knife on dedicated whetstones and sharpeners. Your tool should be cleaned, dried and oiled regularly. Especially after use in humid environments.
