HULTAFORS SY 21-0.8 RA carpentry axe - Hand-forged
Hultafors Carpenters Axe SY 21 is a comfortable, sharp and precise carpenter's axe for working in wood. The axe will be perfect for carpentry and joinery work, where precision, sharpness and certainty of tool guidance are required.
The axe has 800 gram head with a special design that provides a hand grip in the undercut of the blade, so you can accurately work in wood without fear of accidental injury to your hand.
The axe has a straight - typical for carpentry axes - a handle with a length of 50 cm made of very strong Hickory wood. Wooden handle is impregnated with natural linseed oil.
The Swedish company Hultafors manufactures carbon steel axes by traditional methods starting in 1697. The head is repeatedly forged, thus increasing both its density and strength. Selective hardening guarantees long-lasting axe sharpness.
