HULTAFORS Dvardala Hunting & Forest Axe bushcraft axe - Premium
HULTAFORS Dvardala Hunting & Forest Axe bushcraft axe - Premium
The Perfect Tool for Forest Adventures. Dvardala is an excellent axe for hunting and working in the woods. It is a combination of several different types of axes, ideal for trips in the woods where a variety of challenges may arise.
Comfortable and Precise Design
The axe has the same head as the Hultafors Åby, but its shorter shaft - 440 mm (17 inches) long - makes it easier to carry, for example in a backpack. The shorter handle also makes it easier to work with the axe held close to the body.
Versatility and Durability
With its well-shaped hand cutout and partially straight blade with a flat and wide grind, the axe is suitable for precision work such as carving or building shelters. The edge is partially straight with flatter sides, allowing the axe to rest firmly on the workpiece while cutting. However, it is curved enough that the axe can be used for lighter forestry work, such as clearing trails or marking fire lines. The head is slightly thicker on the sides, providing excellent firewood splitting capabilities.
Tradition
Dvardala is a gift that all forest people will appreciate. The axe is handmade at Hults Bruk in keeping with a tradition that dates back to 1697.
Exceptional Materials and Finishes
The axe head weighs a nominal 0.7 kg and is made of Swedish carbon steel cO2-neutral. The 440 mm (17 inch) long wooden handle is made of made of American hickory impregnated with linseed oil. The head is protected by both a wooden wedge and a steel ring wedge. The partially straight edge has a Scandinavian premium cut, which is polished, razor-sharp and ready to use. The axe has a curved, narrow handle with a pronounced end knob for a more secure grip.
Elegant and Functional Vagina
The scabbard is made of swedish grain leather, which ensures the best possible durability. The leather is vegetable-tanned for the best possible durability, and the natural treatment means it will age beautifully with use. Axe is named after Dvardal, the old name of the forest area north of Hults Bruk. It is here that the Kolmården forest begins, and the Borgar mountain in Dvardala offers a fantastic view of the area, which is famous for its successful hunting of wildlife, especially wild boar.

Take good care of your axe and it will be a faithful companion for many years to come. The manufacturer takes pride in the craftsmanship and quality of its products, which is why it offers a lifetime warranty on the axe head.
