Belgian stone (biolite) - natural stone having a homogeneous structure, without inclusions, withcontains quartzites having an abrasive function. Usage:

1. Before use, dip the stone in water for about 15 min.

2. Place the sharpener on a flat surface.

3. Hold the knife at a 15°-30° angle to the stone. Important! When sharpening, maintain a constant angle.

4. Move the knife forward and backward at one pace pressing it lightly.

5. Use the entire surface of the stone when sharpening.

6. The stone during sharpening should be kept moist at all times.

7. When burrs appear during sharpening, change to the other side - drag the blade over the stone to smooth the burrs.

8. Finally, clean the edge of the blade carefully.
