The Helikon Woodsman anorak is a bushcraft jacket whose the front is made of durable DuraCanvas fabric, so as to provide adequate resistance to sparks shooting from the bonfire and rubbing branches during forest walks. DuraCanvas is a combination of cotton and polyester fibers, which provides mechanical strength and increased resistance to accidental burning, e.g., by sparks from a campfire. In addition, the fabric can be impregnated by traditional methods such as waxing, making it waterproof.

The back of the jacket, on the other hand, is made of StormStretch fabric, which provides high breathability and freedom of movement while hiking. The jacket also has reinforcements in critical areas particularly vulnerable to mechanical damage, such as elbows.
