Anorak Pilgrim from Helikon is a modern jacket based on the traditional design. The jacket was designed by Survivaltech, experts in survival and bushcraft, who created a jacket that is perfect for will perform well both while hiking and while doing camp work.

Helikon Pilgrim anorak is sewn from durable DuraCanvas fabric, which provides adequate resistance to both the sparks shooting from the bonfire and the rubbing branches during a forest walk. DuraCanvas is a combination of cotton and polyester fibers, which provides mechanical strength and increased resistance to accidental burning, e.g., by sparks from a campfire. In addition, the fabric can be impregnated by traditional methods such as waxing, making it waterproof.

The jacket is lightweight, durable and roomy enough for an insulating layer such as a fleece sweatshirt.

Construction of the Helikon Pilgrim bushcraft jacket

The jacket has a cut typical of an anorak - worn over the head, without a full-length zipper, so it guarantees a great seal against the wind, protecting you from getting easily chilled while walking. Underarm ventilation slits and vented hood ensure optimal air circulation. Adjustable cuffs, hood and hip section allow you to customize the jacket to your own figure. In addition, the jacket has zippered side pockets where you can warm your hands and stow handy gear, as well as capacious chest pockets secured with tight flaps.

All pockets in this jacket have been arranged in a very thoughtful way, so that during camping work and marches all handy equipment can be easily and conveniently arranged. Mounting loops located in the pockets allow you to secure your gear with a carabiner or rope, without worrying about losing it.
