Helikon Level 7 winter jacket - advanced protection in freezing conditions

Helikon Level 7 is a lightweight yet very warm winter jacket designed as a outer insulation layer for use in low temperatures. It was created with the following in mind outdoor, survival, bushcraft and tactical applications, where reliable protection from cold, wind and light precipitation while maintaining mobility is important.

Climashield® Apex™ insulation - maximum warmth without compromise

Thermal comfort is responsible for climashield® Apex™ synthetic insulation weight 100 gsm, while the hood is insulated with a layer of 67 gsm. This is a solution valued in expeditionary and military clothing - insulation:

• effectively protects against frost,

• it retains its properties even after getting damp,

• dries quickly and does not bunch up during use.

As a result, the jacket performs well both when stationary and in variable weather conditions.

Protection against wind and moisture

Outer shell made of ripstop nylon increases resistance to abrasion and mechanical damage, while also reducing wind chill and protecting against light rain and snow. The whole is complemented by thermal strip along the zipper, which minimizes heat loss in a sensitive area.

Functional pockets and ergonomics of use

The jacket is designed with an emphasis on off-road practicality. Five pockets allows convenient placement of equipment:

• two chest pockets lined with fleece, fastened with inverted YKK® zippers to protect hands from chilling and frostbite,

• compartments in chest pockets for phone or small electronics,

• internal breast pocket fastened with a YKK® zipper,

• two lower interior mesh pockets, accelerating the drying of wet objects.

Helmet-compatible hood and winter details

Fully adjustable hood tucked into the collar was designed to work with a helmet. Importantly, hood adjustment is done with two pullers located in the breast pockets, so you can adjust it without taking your hands out in the cold. The inside of the hood and the collar are lined with fleece, which further enhances thermal comfort.

A snug fit is provided by:

• rib at the bottom of the jacket,

• velcro adjustable cuffs,

• velcro on sleeves with rounded corners for identification patches.
