Head - thickness 3 mm with profile Clip Point, provides excellent cutting edge geometry with low drag. Blade made of stainless steel that holds sharpness well 8Cr13MoV (equivalent to Japanese AUS-8 steel). Plain blade type Plain derived with a ground concave (Hollow Grind) for excellent cutting performance and weight reduction. Glare eliminating coating Black Stonewash. The two-sided stud in the blade (Thumb Stud) allows you to open the knife even when your hands are slippery or frozen. In addition, the knife can be opened with a flipper. Both methods are suitable for both right and left hand operation. Notched supports: thumb ramp (spine jimping) and finger choil jimping, undercut for index finger on the blockade.
8Cr13MoV - easy to sharpen, stainless knife steel, equivalent to japanese AUS-8 steel. High content 13.0% chromium and medium 0.8% carbon provide excellent corrosion resistance. Presence 1.0% silicon, 0.3% molybdenum increase steel strength and wear resistance. 8Cr13MoV is characterized by high hardness in the range of 57-62 HRC.
Skeleton - made of stainless steel provides exceptional structural strength, while also forming the basis of the Frame-Lock head locking mechanism with jimped liner. The whole thing was bolted together with torx screws for easy unfolding and folding of the folder.
Handle - left side, profiled, non-slip textured lining made of sand G-10 (durable, heat- and cold-resistant, chemical-resistant plastic). Right side made of stainless steel. The liners are attached to a solid spacer (the so-called backspacer / handle liner connector) made of G10 plastic, which ensures the strength of the structure. Solid, double-sided cutout in the handle guarantees intuitive right/left hand access to the pins as well as to release the head lock. Metal clip (right-handed) allows the knife to be carried in a tip-up position tip-up (tip upwards). In the back of the grip, an opening (lanyard hole) for pulling a leash or safety line.
