Fenix PD32 V2.0 is a new version of the PD32 universal flashlight, which, after the upgrade, has a light output of 1200 lumens,395 m effective range and a simple interface including 4 useful modes.
Rugged construction
The flashlight tube is made of anodized aluminum A6061-T HA-III, which guarantees high resistance to damage and robustness of construction. Thanks to the cross-moleting of the surface, the flashlight does not slip from the hand, and its grip is well felt.
The optical system is protected by a crown, which protects the glass during a fall and allows the flashlight to be used for self-defense. The flashlight is handy, its length is 129 mm, weight without batteries is only 82 g, which is about the same as a compact folding knife.
Thanks to the detachable clip, the flashlight can be attached to a belt, backpack or tactical vest. The flashlight has a high protection class IP68, so it is resistant to dust, dust, full immersion in water at a depth of 2 m and a fall from a height of 1 m.
Universal outdoor flashlight
The light source is the latest diode from Osram - KW CSLPM1.TG, emitting maximum light output of 1200 lumens. Thanks to the use of a reduced matrix, the light emitted by the LED can be perfectly focused, which translates into a long range of the flashlight of up to 395 m.
The new diode has a lower conduction voltage and can be driven at a higher current, resulting in a stronger light output as well. Natural white light reduces eye fatigue, provides more natural color rendition and better visibility of details.
The flashlight uses anti-reflective glass with high light transmission and smooth reflector, which reflects a concentrated beam of light at a distance of as much as 395 m.
Such light parameters make the flashlight great for many forms of outdoor activities m.in. hiking, camping, hunting.
Simple and functional
The user has 3 modes of constant light operation available: high, medium, low and 1 flash mode: strobe. Limiting the modes is a deliberate effort to affect the functionality and clarity of the interface.
To operate the flashlight, there is a rear tactical switch responsible for turning the flashlight on/off, changing modes and activating the strobe light. Fenix PD32 V2.0 can be powered by 18650 rechargeable battery or 2 CR123 disposable batteries.
Additional features
Flashlight remembers last used brightness level. When you turn it back on, the flashlight automatically activates in this mode (with the strobe off). Fenix PD32 V2.0 also features overheat protection.
In order to lower the temperature, the controller reduces the brightness by a few lumens, which allows you to turn the turbo mode back on. The manufacturer also did not forget to include reverse polarity protection and a low battery warning function.
The light parameters were tested using the ARB-L18-3500 battery pack.
