The flashlight has a sturdy and rugged body, made of magnesium alloy, a material that is resistant to mechanical damage, corrosion and weather conditions. The headlamp has a compact and lightweight design with no external wires, making the flashlight very convenient to use and great for any form of outdoor activity, from cave exploration, camping and evening jogging.

The main light source of the flashlight is efficient Cree XM-L2 U2 LED, which emits a maximum flux of 1000 lumens with a cool color recommended for any application requiring intensity and maximum brightness.

The light reflected from the smooth reflector has a fairly concentrated beam with a working range of up to 163m. In addition to the long-range emitter, the headlamp also uses a second smaller XP-G2 R5 diode (with neutral color) and a collimating lens that evenly disperses light and provides highly efficient and uniform illumination at close range. The flashlight has, of course angle adjustment, which is done by tilting the entire flashlight module.

Headlamp Fenix HM65R is powered by a rechargeable 18650 battery (included), which can also be replaced by 2 disposable CR123 batteries. However, we recommend using an 18650 battery, which guarantees full light performance and longer flashlight operation. This model features a USB-C port, which allows you to charge the battery with a high current of 1.5 A without removing it from the device. This is a very functional solution when you plan to work for a long time with a head flashlight.

By using two buttons operation of the flashlight is very simple and convenient and, most importantly, does not require removing the flashlight from the head. Each emitter is operated by a separate switch, which is also used to change the brightness level. Emitter XM-L2 U2 with long range offers 4 modes operation: turbo (1000 lumens), high (400 lumens), medium (130 lumens), low (50 lumens). Emitter XP-G2 R5 with diffused light has 3 modes: high (400 lumens), medium (130 lumens) and low (8 lumens). In the 1000 lumens mode, the flashlight operates for up to 4 hours (depending on the battery used). Flashlight output can be increased up to up to 1400 lumens, turning on two LEDs simultaneously

Fenix HM65R headlamp is equipped with reverse polarity protection to prevent incorrect battery installation. The flashlight features high protection class IP68, which means it is resistant to dust, dust, heavy rain, and even full immersion in water (2m) for 30 minutes. Therefore, the HM65R can be successfully used in all weather conditions, for virtually any physical activity. Carrying the flashlight comfortably on the head is ensured by an upgraded rubber band, which wicks away sweat and features reflective inserts to increase our visibility and safety when moving at night on the road or trail. The HM65R uses a constant-current driver that guarantees longer flashlight runtime.
