Esee Izula II OD knife
Esee Izula II OD knife
Esee Izula is named after an aggressive ant from the Peruvian jungle. Symbolizes a knife that should not be underestimated because of its size! Izula is a very versatile fixed blade. It can be easily stowed in a bag or carried like a neck knife. Despite its size, it provides a really good grip. The knife has a hole in the back for extra grip when you put your little finger through it. Of course, you can also make a handle out of paracord to get a better grip. ESEE also produces real parts for grabbing, if you like it better. Then, of course, the knife gets a little bigger.
The blade is made of 1095 carbon steel, which ESEE often uses. It has sublime cutting properties and sharpens easily. Esee has added a powder coating to the carbon steel blade, which helps greatly in protecting it from corrosion. We advise you to store the knife in a dry place and lubricate it before putting it away. Just to be sure!
The Isula comes with a zytel scabbard that really holds the knife firmly. The scabbard comes with a sturdy steel clip and allows you to attach it to your belt.
The ESEE Izula II knife is a compact, lightweight and extremely durable knife designed for use in harsh environments. It is a knife with a full tang blade, which increases its strength. Unlike Izula, it has a Micarta handle, which makes handling the knife more comfortable. In addition, the handle of the knife has been extended by about 1.3 cm. Due to its small size of only 17 cm in length, it is an ideal addition to a survival essential or as a knife that can be easily concealed. Included is a black plastic scabbard for carrying the knife safely, which has an eyelet for attaching paracord.
