Food Jug is made of the highest quality stainless steel thermos lunch, which will allow you to enjoy a hot meal wherever you are at the moment. Lunch thermos is a great thing to take with you when you go fishing, hiking on the trail, mushrooming, or just for a longer walk. It is ideal in autumn and winter when temperatures are low because nothing energizes and warms up so much as, for example, a plate of hot soup in the field.

Thermos is externally covered with a non-slip, black and matte coating, thanks to which the probability of slipping and dropping the thermos is minimized. The dimensions of the thermos have been selected so that its use does not pose any difficulties. Regardless of the capacity, it has the same diameter, and differs only in height.

As with most decent thermoses Food Jug has a construction consisting of double walls. This provides excellent insulation properties and guarantees that our favorite meal will maintain our desired temperature for a long time.

One of the perks of the Food Jug thermos is certainly the placement of a safety valve on the cap. After pressing the valve button (before opening the thermos!) we can remove the excess pressure and steam accumulated inside the. Such a solution makes it easier to open the thermos and eliminates practically to zero the risk of being burned by hot steam or the cap accidentally "exploding" during transport. The cap of the thermos is perfect for a small bowl from which we will successfully eat a hot meal.

To maximize the properties offered by the thermos, Esbit recommends "formatting" the thermos before use. If you plan to transport hot items then before placing them in the thermos, fill it with hot water for about 4 minutes, then pour out the water and place the food. An analogy should be made for cold things (fill the thermos with very cold water).
