Beavercraft Spoon Knives Dual-Sided Paddle Strop is a handcrafted large, double-sided leather board belt specifically designed for sharpening spoon knives.
Double-sided leather sharpening belt that your spoon knives will be maximally sharp again. The leather strap is a simple but great tool for sharpening and is perfect for keeping maximum sharpness of knives carving spoon knives.
The double-sided sharpener is divided into 2 parts - into a section with a leather strip and sandpaper section. Leather side is used for final polishing, replaceable sandpaper side - used for sharpening more dull spoon knives.
We can coat pieces of cowhide on one side with polishing paste and leave the other side for final polishing of the blade.
The board is handcrafted from ash wood, is precisely and chicly finished, smooth, impregnated with linseed oil. The board has a comfortable handle, is thick enough, provides stable and efficient work.
Usage:
- blade knives subjected to final sharpening or polishing on the leather belt, should be moved along the leather in the direction of the back of the knife to prevent cutting the skin
- a small amount of polishing paste can be applied on one strip to facilitate and speed up the process of achieving maximum knife sharpness or polishing.
- on the second strip, finally polish the blade to a mirror finish and bring the knife blade to its highest sharpness.
