CRKT Pilar IV Folding Knife 5321
CRKT knife Pilar IV
Where minimalist design meets maximum utility. The Pilar IV transforms a minimalist navy knife into a distinctly urban, everyday folder, while retaining the spirit of classic and epic storytelling behind its name. It is still low and unobtrusive when tucked away, and carefully designed to punch above its weight when in use.
Jesper Voxnaes designed the original Pilar at his store in Logstrup, Denmark, and named it after Ernest Hemingway's beloved boat - a 38-meter vessel he used to watch for German submarines during World War II in Caribbean waters. The world-renowned author was also a combat veteran of World War I, a big game hunter, sailor and fisherman, is sure to choose a knife companion like the Pilar III for his daily tasks.
The sturdy 3.09-inch-long clip point blade of the Pilar IV has a satin finish, and the thin but sturdy tip is useful for more detailed tasks. The ultra-grippy G10 handle develops through years of use, and the eye-catching stainless steel lanyard loop elevates the look The thumb-opening mechanism opens the blade, and the IKBS ball-bearing pivot system ensures super-smooth rotation.
