The axe head is made of made of hard carbon steel 1060, which is straightforwardly the ideal choice for an outdoor tool. Carbon steel 1060 is distinguished by its high wear resistance and is also relatively easy to sharpen, which means that repairing the cutting edge can also be handled in the field.
The axe is equipped with with a durable hickory wood handle impregnated with oil.
The Greenland Axe comes with a handmade leather sheath, fastened with tension. Leather blade sheath allows the tool to be safely transported in a hiking backpack or bushcraft bag.
