Cold Steel Hudson Bay Camp Axe (90QB)
Large camp axe in classic Hudson Bay style!
Axe modeled after the classic Hudson Bay axe. The original was produced for the Hudson Bay Company that had existed since the 17th century. The flat cap along with the back of the blade forms a right angle to the straight shaft. The appropriate length of the stylet makes the axe easy to carry with you, and thanks to its excellent balance, it is perfect for chopping and limbing wood for a campfire, as well as for more precise work.
The head, covered with a black protective coating to protect it from corrosion, was made of forged 1055 carbon steel, which was heat-treated to provide high impact strength while ensuring good working sharpness hold.
The handle on which the head is set is made of durable pecan wood. A clamp has been placed on the head to provide double protection against the head slipping from the stylus during operation.
