Stabilized wood is resin-saturated pieces that become resistant to water and general wear and tear.

Stabilized wood will not shrink or crack, but can be easily shaped with conventional woodworking tools or CNC machines. The colors penetrate the wood, unlike traditional stains or dyes.

Checotah Walnut is a material with a beautiful structure and a nice, penetrating coloration. In addition, walnut, which is a naturally hard wood, gains additional resistance on stabilization. Walnut chert is perfect for making your own knife handle giving it a noble and unique look.
