Brisa Trooper is a bushcraft type head made of of carbon steel 80CrV2 3.5 mm thick. It is a popular mainstream model among bushcraft and survival enthusiasts for its durability, reliability and versatility.
80CrV2 steel is a carbon alloy containing 0.8% carbon, 0.25% silicon, 0.3% manganese, 0.5% chromium and 0.15% vanadium. Thanks to this chemical composition, this steel has excellent mechanical properties, such as high bending and tensile strength, as well as high wear resistance.
Brisa Trooper is a multipurpose knife head that can be used for a variety of tasks in the woods or during other outdoor activities, such as chopping wood, cutting sticks, preparing food or building shelter. Its solid construction and good workmanship make it a knife that can last for many years.

What it takes to make a full-tang knife handle?
To make a full-tang knife handle, you will need several materials and tools. Here are some examples:
- Handle material - the most common are wood covers or micarta. Sometimes plastic covers are also used.
- Tools for machining, e.g. saw, drill, drills, belt grinder or files for wood and metal, vise.
- Glue - for attaching the handle to the tang of the knife. Most often it is a two-component adhesive (epoxy resin).
- Material for decoration - you can use different materials to enhance the appearance of the handle (the space between the tang and the handle). The most common is the use of fiber spacers.
- Screws, pins or tubes - to attach the handle to the tango. The most common are Corby screws, metal rods and tubes made of brass or stainless steel.
- Sandpaper - to finish the handle. Paper of various gradations from 80 to 1200, depending on how smooth a handle surface is desired.
- Handle oil - to protect the handle and make it durable and aesthetically pleasing. It can be linseed oil, olive oil, beeswax or ready mixtures of natural oils dedicated to the maintenance of handles.
