1095 High Carbon Steel - cold-rolled, high-carbon tool steel with carbon content 0.95% (C) and manganese 0.5% (Mn) and hardness in the range of 55-58 HRC. Characterized by high cutting aggression and long sharpness retention. Used for knives, swords and blades, it has a great edge and is very easy to sharpen.
Head - type Drop Point with amphibians coated with a wear-resistant powder coating that provides excellent protection against corrosion. The trademark of this series of knives, which is a mixed cut, the front, with its heavily marked belly and flat cut is excellent for working on a kitchen board or chopping. Closer to the handle we have a concave cut, with excellent planing properties. The characteristic arched transition of the grinds helps when cutting soft materials such as ropes or belts.
Handle - made of Micarta, composite material of cotton or linen compressed under pressure with synthetic resin. Chamfered cover edges eliminate sharp edges for comfort, and a fore finger groove improves grip confidence. The facings are attached directly to the cladding using through rivets, which can also be used to thread fixing cord.
