Kihon Auto Black Aluminum, Stonewash is an automatic knife with an original design, made of very good materials while maintaining an attractive price. Designed by renowned American knifemaker Lucas Burnley, whose designs combine clean, modern lines with tactical roots - a style Lucas describes as post-tactical.

AUS-8 - molybdenum-vanadium Japanese stainless steel. Often called the equivalent of 440 steel. Both steels have a similar composition, however AUS8 is harder (hardened to 59 HRC) so it is slower to dull, without losing its excellent resistance to harsh weather conditions (moisture, work in water). Rich in 0.75% carbon (C), 0.25% vanadium (V) and 0.30% molybdenum (Mo), containing min. 13% chromium (Cr). Due to its high hardness, it is suitable for manufacturing cutting tools, knife blades and medical instruments. Characterized by an excellent balance of strength and corrosion resistance and excellent value for money. Made in Japanese steel mills Aichi Steel.

Head - type drop point finished with scratch-masking Stonewash. The expansive belly extends the length of the cutting edge relative to the length of the blade converging towards the needle-sharp tip of the knife in combination with the the high, flat grind (Flat Grind) gives excellent cutting properties. The blade was set on Teflon washers supporting the work of the opening mechanism, so you can efficiently unfold the folder with the push of a button. On the back of the wedge upper jimping, notched thumb rest. The whole thing is locked with the proven lock button lock.

Handle - beveled facings of black aluminum. The surface of the covers has been partially covered with a fine texture that improves grip security. Simple, sturdy design provides assurance of many years of use. At the back of the handle is a lanyard hole, that is, an opening for a safety or decorative cord. Onepositional clip right side metal allows you to carry the knife discreetly in your pocket in a tip-up position tip-up (blade tip up).
