SlipJoint - non-locking ball detent mechanism used in folders, nonlocking ball detent. Force is required to assemble the knife. SlipJoint holds the wedge in both the folded and unfolded positions.
Head - with a refined approximation of Steepfoot (sheep's foot) profile, finished with a stone washed. Made of well-handled sharpness, hardened between 56-59 HRC, durable stainless steel 440C. Plain blade Plain, brought out flat grind (Flat Grind) for excellent geometry and durability. Oval cutout to open the blade.
Handle - asymmetrical: made of stainless steel, which is the base of the non-blocking mechanism, and hard exotic African wood Zebrawood (Zingana) with a beautiful texture. Open design tzw. open-backed, facilitates cleaning and maintenance. A cutout in one of the facings facilitates right-hand access to the oval opening for opening the blade.
