Benchmade - Knife 15700-01 Flyway

Benchmade 15700-01 Flyway is an ultra-lightweight hunting knife for game perching, equipped with a blade made of excellent CPM S90V steel, g10 facings and a sheath made of durable Boltaron.

• Benchmade 15700-01 Flyway is a compact hunting knife with full tang construction made of from a single piece of steel. The knife features a minimalist design, which contributes to an imperceptible weight of only 60 g. Knife with such a low weight makes it easy to operate the knife and comfortable for long working hours. The function of the handle is performed by a profiled mandrel and carbon fiber side inserts. The knife is fully powder coated in orange color. The bright color scheme ensures good visibility of the knife and makes it easy to find among the vegetation.

• The knife has a 76 mm long blade, made made of elite CPM-S90V stainless steel, which is subjected to the optimal hardening for edc knives to a hardness of 59-61 HRC.
• CPM-S90V is a luxury stainless steel with a very high vanadium and carbon content, which make it the blade retains sharpness for a long time, is highly resistant to abrasion and corrosion.
• When choosing a hard-steel knife, get a diamond sharpener, as sharpening with a standard ceramic whetstone can be very labor-intensive and inefficient.

• Milling on the back of the blade provides a stable point of support for the fingers. These simple conveniences allow for comfortable and accurate knife handling, what is crucial for a hunter when gutting game.
• The Benchmade 15700-01 Flyway uses profiled G10 plastic facings providing a comfortable and stable grip. For safe carrying of the knife there is a boltaron sheath, thermoplastic material with high resistance to damage, temperature and moisture.
