The Benchmade 555-S30V Mini Griptilian, in its new guise, has been equipped with a CPM-S30V premium steel blade, widely regarded as the best stainless steel on the market.
The Benchmade 555-S30V Mini Griptilian has a classic utilitarian drop-point blade with a flat grind. The blade is made of American cPM-S30V stainless steel hardened to a hardness of 58-60 HRC. The shape of the head, the type of grinding and the quality of the steel used make the blade maintain excellent working sharpness for a long time and have outstanding cutting properties.
Proven solutions and high-end materials
Hole in the head allows for convenient one-handed blade unfolding for both right- and left-handed people. A section of the blade's back has been raised and grooved to create a stable point of support for the fingers during precise blade guidance.
Responsible for the safety of operation is the benchmade's flagship mechanism, a double-sided Axis-lock, valued for its tremendous mechanical strength, resistance to dirt, and ease of use for right- and left-handed users.
Liners attached to steel inserts (420J), made of Noryl GTX material, with non-slip texturing for a firm and secure grip.
