TickLess is a tick protection device.
TickLess Pet is designed for dogs and cats (It can also be used by humans, from the baby/kid version it differs only in the available color versions and packaging).
The device emits ultrasonic pulses at a frequency of 40 kHz.The pulses emitted by the device are completely harmless to humans and pets, but they block the tick's main sensory organ, the Haller organ. Ticks use Haller's organ to target a host, when a tick comes within range of the ultrasound emitted by TickLess - it will be confused and will not sense its prey.
TickLess also shows effectiveness in protecting against fleas. The effective area of protection is a radius of about 1.5m.
TickLess uses no toxic/chemical substances and is completely safe for pets and humans (including pregnant women, young children, people with pacemakers, etc.).).
USE:
- Hang the device on the pet's collar so that it faces the grille on the housing toward the pet's body
- Remove the pin to activate the device, the red LED will then blink
- Device will remain active for 8-10 months, cannot be turned off
- Moisture does not damage the device (IP13) - but direct contact with water should be avoided. If it gets damp or wet, leave the device to dry in an airy place (you can assist the process with a mechanical air supply).
For maximum protection, remember:
- Check the activity of the device periodically (the LED should blink visibly when the button is pressed)
- When you pull your pet's collar off TickLess, it is not protected, so we recommend:
- checking your pet's surroundings where it is without TickLess (ticks may have been there before, such as the bed)
- each time checking your pet and yourself upon returning home for ticks that may have accidentally found themselves on him/her/us
- Protection is not effective when TickLess is wet - remember to let the device dry when you get home.
- For the most perfect protection, especially in areas with a large number of ticks, we recommend the use of other preventive measures m.in. regular inspection of the animal's coat
