THE EDGE proSHARP 10-30° is diamond sharpening system, which is constructed to provide complete control, convenience, and a proper sharpening process. The sharpener is equipped with 3 diamond plates, guides with angle adjustment from 10-30° and a stable base with suction cup. Allows sharpening of edc, kitchen, hunting and survival knives with the highest degree of hardening.

Sharpening system allows everyone to sharpen knives accurately, correctly and efficiently. All you need to do is to familiarize yourself with the instructions and the principle of the system, and set aside some free time, which you will devote to learning how to use it. The investment will pay for itself in a short period of time and make THE EDGE proSHARP 10-30° system a single sharpener that we will use to sharpen all our knives. Unlike the "hand sharpening" method, which requires skill and experience, the system guarantees maintenance of the correct angle. Therefore, we are assured that the sharpening will be carried out correctly and efficiently. By choosing the right angle and maintaining it during grinding, the knife is perfectly sharpened and retains its cutting properties much longer. THE EDGE proSHARP uses diamond plates to make sharpening hard, highly hardened steel knives, such as CPM-S30V, M390 and D2, easier and faster.

Construction and operation

The system consists of a polymer 3 diamond plate, a base with suction cup, a frame with angle settings (10-30°) and a guide in which you mount 1 or 2 diamond plates. Thanks to the use of a strong suction cup, the system can be firmly attached to a tabletop or table. The knife is fixed in the base by 2 locking plates provided with rubber protective caps. The next step is to place the diamond plate (1 or 2) in the spring-loaded guide holder and choose the sharpening angle that best suits the type, and purpose of the knife. The polymer frame has 5 predefined angles: 10°, 12°, 20°. 25°, 30°. The angle is changed by placing the guide rod in the notch of the angle of interest. Due to the ability to mount 2 diamond inserts in the guide at the same time, the grinding process is more stable and convenient.

Sharpening angles

The frame has 5 sharpening angles designed for different types of knives:

  • 10° - precision cutting tools,
  • 12° - filleting knives, kitchen knives,
  • 20°- edc knives, pocket knives,
  • 25° - large edc folders, hunting knives, outdoor knives,
  • 30° - survival knives, heavy duty tools.

Easy and fast

THE EDGE proSHARP 10-30° set includes 3 diamond plates, allowing you to carry out the most important repair, sharpening and polishing of the cutting edge. Steel inserts with a durable diamond coating are mounted in polymer housings. Diamond is harder than sintered carbide, so the sharpening process is easy and fast, and does not require the use of water or oil. When sharpening the plate should not be pressed against the blade, the own weight of the guide is enough.

Available gradations:

  • Gradation 240 to repair and re-profile the cutting edge,
  • gradation 600 for giving a working focus,
  • gradation 1000 for smoothing the blade, and quick sharpening of slightly dulled edges.

Easy maintenance

Pre-clean the diamond plates with a nylon brush (included), then wash in warm water with mild detergent.

If damage is found, the knife should be immediately repaired or replaced with a new copy.

When using the knife, focus solely on the task at hand, avoid talking on the phone or watching TV while slicing, and make sure your work area is well-lit. You are reminded that in some countries or regions there are laws restricting the possession and carrying of knives.
