TEKO is a well-known Scottish brand that produces the most environmentally friendly socks in the world. The socks are made made of merino wool sourced from South America, the polyester yarn comes from recycled Newlife® and is made from bottles collected immediately after use, and the regenerated Econyl® nylon comes from recycled fishing nets. During the processing of wool no chlorine is used, and the process is bluesign® environmental certification. In dyes no allergens, carcinogens, heavy metals or formaldehyde can be found. All products TEKO meet oekoTex100 standard, are not harmful to health. Packaging materials are recyclable. Noteworthy, production is done in Italy using renewable energy.

TEKO Merino Heavy Trek socks have a mid-calf height, designed to be worn with hiking boots and heavier trekking shoes. Thanks to the heavy, full surface cushioning you can enjoy the comfort and moisture-wicking properties required for long hikes. Ideal for long-distance trekking in autumn or winter weather conditions. You get 100% natural merino wool adhering to the skin, and the nylon is braided on the outside of the sock to increase durability. Nylon reinforcement is doubled in the heel and toe area. TEKO Trekking socks provide comfort and moisture-wicking properties while remaining lightweight and excellent breathability.

Caring for TEKO socks

To save energy and water, machine wash or hand wash at 30 degrees Celsius on the left side, then air dry. DO NOT SPIN MERINO WOOL WITH MORE THAN 800 RPM
