Tarp SOLO is the lightest way to provide simple, effective and easy-to-use shelter in a hiking environment. It is equipped with a mounting system designed for setting up with trekking poles or attaching to trees.
Thanks to its discreet color, SOLO will be a good shelter wherever you don't want to focus attention on yourself during an overnight stay.
The SOLO's dimensions provide shelter when camping for two people on a short trip or comfortable space for one long-distance runner with a large backpack. You can cook quietly under it, organize your equipment or simply hide from bad weather. SOLO's lower back profile helps protect against wind and rain.
10 lashing points allows for thorough protection from the weather. Laser-cut details from Hypalon (reinforced rubber-nylon laminate) are made to use trekking poles as a frame.
For the SOLO we used silylon in a microripstop weave. The fabric is thus fully waterproof, windproof and resistant to mechanical damage. Microripstop weave protects fabric from tearing if punctured.
A unique feature of SOLO is the use of durable polyamide webbing as a back reinforcement and to transfer most of the tensile forces. In practice, this means that the tarp does not suffer from stretching of the fabric - the fabric is, so to speak, "hooked up" to the polyamide backing. This significantly increases the strength and life of the product.
