The Storm Tear-Aid kit is a reliable, compact solution for instant damage repair in hiking clothing and equipment. Transparent, flexible and weatherproof patches guarantee permanent fabric protection without the need for sewing. This makes the kit great for trips, trekking and anywhere else where the equipment needs to be operational right away.
The tape and patches are airtight, waterproof, UV resistant, as well as maintain flexibility throughout their lifetime. The material is transparent, so it is not conspicuous and does not discolor over time. The patches can be easily cut with scissors to fit the shape of the tear.

Instructions for use
Step 1 - Surface preparation
Clean the damaged area with the supplied tissue.
Step 2 - Fitting the patch
Trim the patch, leaving approx. 25 mm allowance around the tear.
Type A - for most fabrics
Type B - for vinyl-coated materials
Step 3 - Application
Slowly peel off the protective paper and apply the patch, avoiding air bubbles.
Step 4 - Sealing
Tighten all edges for a tight connection.
Step 5 - Reinforcement (optional)
If access to the material is possible from both sides, apply an additional patch on the inside of the damage.
