First aid kit for equipment repair

Field repair is often a necessity. Storm Tear-Aid is a practical repair kit in a travel version that allows you to restore your equipment to full functionality wherever you are. You will apply it to:

• waterproof jackets, softshells and functional clothing

• outer layers gore-Tex, Pertex, Sympatex and materials with similar properties

• tents and tarps

• backpacks and carry bags

Step-by-step instructions for use

Step 1
Clean the damaged surface with the supplied wipe.

Step 2
Cut the Tear-Aid patch to the appropriate size, leaving about 25 mm margin around the tear.
Use type B for vinyl-coated materials, a type A for other fabrics.

Step 3
Slowly peel off the protective paper and apply the patch to the damage, being careful of any air bubbles or creases.

Step 4
Thoroughly press down all edges for a perfect seal.

Step 5
If you have access to the other side of the material, repeat the procedure and apply the patch from the inside as well, which will further strengthen the repair.
