Storm Apparel Proofer - restoring water resistance to technical clothing

Restores full waterproofness of outerwear, leaving on its surface patented, abrasion-resistant DWR coating, heat-activated. In combination with the agent Storm Wash significantly improves breathability and provides effective protection against moisture even in harsh conditions.

Storm Apparel Proofer reflects dWR chemistry used in professional manufacturing processes, thus providing durable and high water resistance. It was designed specifically for technical clothing, including:

• Waterproof outerwear

• Membran Gore-Tex, Sympatex and eVent

• Ski clothing

• Motorcycle technical clothing

• Cotton outdoor clothing

• Synthetic fabrics, including sleeping bags

Instructions for use

STEP 1

Put one or two clothes in the washing machine (depending on their size).
Avoid overfilling the drum - technical clothing must move freely for the impregnation and cleaning process to proceed properly.

STEP 2

Pour 75 ml Storm Proofer into the appropriate compartment of the washing machine.
Recommended: before waterproofing, wash your clothes with Storm Apparel Wash, to remove dirt and prepare the fabric.

STEP 3

Set the washing machine to program for synthetic fabrics at 30°C or the "sportswear" program, if available.
Don't use household detergents during this process.

STEP 4

Once the cycle is complete, allow the garment to pre-dry in the air for minimum 20 minutes.

STEP 5

Follow the recommendations of the clothing manufacturer:

• Tumble dryer or

• Iron through a damp cloth, to activate the thermal coating and achieve maximum hydrophobicity.
