Spyderco SpydieChef Titanium Plain Folding Knife (C211TIP)

SpydieChef Titanium Plain, a folder of great strength and utility, design by Marcin "MarcinS" Slysz (Heard). Designed by a specialist in handmade custom knives, one of the first and most talented Polish knifemakers. An extremely sophisticated folding knife that combines user-friendly ergonomics with the balance of a world-class "chef's" knife and transforms it into a versatile EDC folder.

LC200N - (also known as Z-Flint) ultra corrosion resistant modern high nitrogen martensitic tool steel. Quite hard 60 HRC, provides a combination of excellent strength, edge holding, chipping resistance and extreme corrosion resistance. Manufactured by combining the process of PESR (electric remelting of slag under pressure) and technology intelligent forging, resulting in an incredible increase in steel purity and a very fine, homogeneous microstructure. Used m.in. by NASA for the production of ball bearings used in the aerospace industry. Contains 0.3% carbon, 15% chromium, 0.5% nitrogen, 0.95% molybdenum, 0.5% nickel and 1.0% manganese. Manufactured by ZAPP.

Reeve Integral-Lock - (R.I.L.) reinforced, monolithic locking mechanism of the wedge type Frame-Lock. One of the facings acts as a locking mechanism.

Head - solid, thickness 3 mm with a refined approximation of Steepfoot (sheep's foot) profile with a clearly marked blade belly. Plain blade Plain, derived ground full flat (full flat) for excellent geometry and durability. Round cutout SpyderHole (Spyderco patent) to open the blade also with sweaty hands.

Handle - made of solid titanium 6AL-4V. Both facings with precision machined surfaces, one is the base of the locking mechanism R.I.L. heavy-duty. Black titanium anodized spacers connect the two halves of the handle to form a tzw. open-backed, open design that reduces weight and makes cleaning and maintenance easier. The folder is equipped with a twist-up (left/right) deep-pocket wire clip, allowing you to carry the knife in the tip-up position tip-up (tip up). In the back of the cladding, an opening (lanyard hole) on the line.
