Shaman Black G-10 Plain, the impetus for the creation of this knife was the iconic Native, for decades the flagship product of the company Spyderco. This advanced folder offers improved ergonomics but in a full-size version. Shaman is one of the best EDC. Manufactured at the Spyderco factory in the USA (Golden, Colorado).
Made of corrosion-resistant, mechanical stress-resistant American powder steel CPM S30V with added carbon, chromium and vanadium o hardness 58-59 HRC. This unique steel it is designed to produce high-quality blades and knives, manufactured in steel mills Crucible Inc.
Compression-Lock - patented by the company Spyderco (made in USA) mechanism blade locks. Extremely durable, provides extreme strength and ease of use.
Head - about the profile Drop Point, thickness 3.7 mm. Plain blade Plain was brought out with a ground flat full (Full Flat Grind). Flat grinding provides excellent cutting edge geometry with a sharp tip. The head is coated with a non-reflective matte finish Stone Washed (masking minor scratches caused during operation). Enlarged 14 mm round cutout SpyderHole (Spyderco patent) allows the knife to be opened quickly. Long karbored ramp under the thumb and Finger Choil (profiled undercut for the index finger between the handle and the cutting edge) make it easier to control the knife.
Handle - made of profiled, anti-slip matt facings of G-10 (durable plastic, resistant to high and low temperatures, chemicals). The folder features a sturdy metal screw-on clip (StoneWashed) with the possibility of fixing in four planes (up/down, right/left) 4-way clip positions. In the back of the handle, a hole for mounting a safety cable.
Skeleton - was reinforced with two stainless steel plates to which the cladding was attached. This provides great strength with a lightweight knife. The whole thing was bolted together with enlarged screws torx for easy twisting and unfolding of the folder.
