CTS BD1 - corrosion-resistant, good sharpness retention American phenomenal stainless steel. Manufactured in the USA by Carpenter Technology Corporation.

Head - solid with a thickness of 3.2 mm and profile Leaf Shaped (leaf shape) provides excellent cutting edge geometry with low friction. The cutting edge is ground flat (Full Flat Grind). Plain blade type Plain extends along the entire length of the blade, allows powerful cuts with the heel of the blade. Enlarged 14 mm round cutout SpyderHole (Spyderco patent) makes it easy to open the blade with cold or wet hands as well as with a glove. Notched support, thumb ramp (spine jimping) makes it easier to control the knife.

Skeleton - of solid stainless steel plates provides exceptional structural strength, while forming the basis of the bhEAD LOCATION Liner-Lock, Michael Walker. The whole thing was screwed together with screws torx for easy unfolding and folding of the folder.

Handle - in grey. Made of lightweight textured facings of durable G-10, resistant to high and low temperatures, chemicals plastic. A solid cutout in one of the covers guarantees intuitive right-hand access to the cutout SpyderHole as well as to release the head lock. The folder features a sturdy metal screw-on clip with four-way clip positions (up/down, right/left) 4-way clip positions. In the back of the handle, a hole (lanyard hole) for mounting a safety cable.
