Para3 G-10 Dark Gray Maxamet Plain, a lightweight, compact version of the outstanding Para Military 2, one of the best EDC. Blade made z Maxamet, innovative premium grade alloy companies Carpenter®. Spyderco is one of the few companies that have mastered the specialized technology required to machine, heat treat and harden this unique alloy.

Technically improved: improved handle ergonomics - extended blade tip - enlarged cord opening - four-position clip). Reinforced fully demountable bolted construction torx facilitates cleaning, folder adjustment. Manufactured at the Spyderco factory in the USA (Golden, Colorado).

Micro-Melt® Maxamet, extremely hard and durable modern American powder tool steel with low friction coefficient. Going beyond the parameters of conventional tool steels, similar to carbide or ultra-hard materials used for machining other steels. This phenomenal steel is manufactured in the USA by Carpenter Technology Corporation.

Compression-Lock - (zcloser to Liner-Lock) patented by the company Spyderco (Made in USA) head locking mechanism. Extremely durable, provides extreme strength and ease of use. Located on the back of the handle, secures the knife from inadvertent closure. When releasing the lock, fingers are not in the path of the folding head.

Head - laser-cut with modified profile Clip Point, thickness 3.7 mm. Eliminating glare pcoating Satin Finish (semi-mat). Plain blade Plain brought out full flat grind (Full Flat Grind) to increase cutting properties and reduce the weight of the knife. Enlarged 14 mm round cutout SpyderHole (Spyderco patent) allows the knife to be opened even with a glove. Notched ramp under thumb and Finger Choil (profiled undercut for the index finger between the handle and the cutting edge) increase control of the knife.

Handle - covered with non-slip textured facings in the color of dark gray. Made of plastic G-10 (durable, resistant to high and low temperatures, chemicals) screwed to the steel liners using screws torx. The folder features a screw-on metal clip with four-way (up/down, right/left) mounting options 4-way clip positions. The enlarged hole (lanyard hole) for pulling a leash or safety line.

Skeleton - was reinforced with two steel plates to which the cladding was attached. This provides great strength with a lightweight knife. The whole thing was bolted together with enlarged screws torx for easy twisting and unfolding of the folder.
