Manix 2 G-10 Dark Blue CPM S110V Plain, one of best EDC folders. This is the second generation of the most recognizable knife Spyderco, made in an elite color (Midnight Blue / Dark Blue), reserved for knives Spyderco z steel head CPM S110V. Manufactured at the Spyderco factory in the USA (Golden, Colorado).

CPM S110V - High-alloyed martensitic tool steel with a hardness of 58-61 HRC, produced by the process Crucible® Particle Metallurgy (CPM). The process begins with a homogeneous bath of molten high-alloy steel, which is pumped through a nozzle under high pressure with nitrogen gas to produce a stream of small spherical droplets that quickly solidify into powder particles. The small particle size forms micro ingots, drastically reducing alloy segregation in the steel and providing an extremely fine carbide microstructure when the powder is processed into finished steel. Alloy CPM S110V contains high 2.8% carbon content and a significant admixture of of niobium, vanadium carbides i chrome. Thanks to its properties, it holds sharpness for a very long time and provides high corrosion resistance. This unique steel is produced at steel mills Crucible® Industries.

Ball Bearing-Lock, one of the strongest blade locking mechanisms. Hardened ball bearing housed in a black polymer cage in the open position pressed against the blade by a spring. Made in USA.

Head - about the profile Leaf-Shaped, thickness 3.2 mm. Non-reflective coating Satin Finish (semi-mat). Plain blade Plain brought out full flat grind (Full Flat Grind). Flat grinding provides excellent cutting edge geometry with a sharp tip. Enlarged 14 mm round cutout SpyderHole (Spyderco patent) allows the knife to be opened even with a glove. Explicit Finger Choil - arched undercut for index finger and notched thumb ramp on the back of the blade increase control of the knife.

Handle - covered with textured facings in the color of dark blue. Made of durable, heat- and chemical-resistant plastic G-10. The knife is equipped with a sturdy metal clip (left/right) that allows the knife to be carried in the tip-up position tip-up (tip upwards). Spine Jimping notches on the backs of the handles increase comfort and grip security. In the back of the grip, an enlarged hole (lanyard hole) for pulling a leash or safety line.
