Manix 2 G-10 Black / Black Blade - one of best EDC folders available on the market. This is the second generation of one of the most recognizable knives Spyderco, model with head covered with non-reflective coating DLC and with one of the strongest blocking mechanisms Ball Bearing-Lock. Manufactured at the Spyderco factory in the USA (Golden, Colorado).
Made of corrosion-resistant, mechanical stress-resistant American powder steel CPM S30V with added carbon, chromium and vanadium with a hardness of 58-59 HRC. This unique steel is designed for the production of premium blades and knives, manufactured at Crucible Inc's steel mills.
Ball Bearing-Lock, one of the strongest blade locking mechanisms. Hardened ball bearing housed in a black polymer cage in the open position pressed against the blade by a spring. Made in USA.
Head - about the profile Leaf-Shaped, thickness 3.2 mm. Covered with scratch-resistant matte non-reflective coating DLC (Diamond Like Coating) in color black. Smooth blade Plain brought out full flat grind (Full Flat Grind). Flat grinding provides excellent cutting edge geometry with a sharp tip. Enlarged 14 mm round cutout SpyderHole (Spyderco patent) allows the knife to be opened even with a glove. Explicit Finger Choil - arched undercut for the index finger and notched thumb ramp on the back of the blade make it easier to control the knife.
Handle - textured facings in black. Made of durable, resistant to high and low temperatures and chemicals plastics G-10. The knife is equipped with a solid metal clip (left/right) to carry the knife in position tip-up (tip upwards). Spine Jimping notching on the backs of the handles increase comfort and grip security. In the back of the grip, an enlarged hole (lanyard hole) for pulling a leash or safety line.
