Manufactured by Böhler-Uddeholm, K390 MICROCLEAN® is a state-of-the-art tool steel. The advanced alloy blend is specially formulated to provide the extreme wear resistance and high compressive strength required for industrial operations. Despite its strength, its extremely fine, homogeneous and makes it easy to machine and heat treat.
The Endura knife features a molded FRN (fiberglass reinforced nylon) handle with bi-directional texture for grip and improved ergonomics. The handle is reinforced with double stainless steel skeleton inserts that provide an anchor for all external and internal components, while increasing strength and rigidity. Phosphor bronze bushings on the blade axis smooth out the opening/closing motion. The pocket clip is reversible in four directions, allowing it to be worn up/down, left or right. The blade is made of premium K390 steel and features Spyderco's easy-to-use thumbhole for easy and efficient one-handed opening.
