H-1 - blade made of steel produced in Japanese foundry Myodo Foundry, high-chromium, low-carbon (rolled without heat treatment) stainless steel H-1 with a hardness of 57-58 HRC. Contains 14-16% chromium, 0.15% carbon, 3-4.5% silicon and 1% nitrogen. All internal steel parts have undergone special treatment, making them resistant to rust and salt. The knife can stay in water, also marine, will not rust even if left wet after use.
Head - Leaf-Shaped finished with a coating of Satin Finish (semi-mat). The small thickness of the blade combined with the concave cut (Hollow Grind) enables efficient, deep cuts. Round cutout SpyderHole (Spyderco patent) allows you to open the knife with your thumb. Robust Back-Lock with additional cutout Boye Detent, preventing accidental release of the lock when the knife is firmly gripped. Corrugated thumb ramp and Finger Choil profiled undercut for the index finger between the handle and the cutting edge make it easier to operate the knife safely.
