Sandvik 12C27 - swedish stainless steel similar in chemical composition and mechanical properties to steel type 440A. Thanks to appropriate melting technology, this steel contains very few impurities and has a very fine-grained structure.
SlipJoint - non-blocking mechanism used in folders. Uses spring-loaded pressure on the flat notch on the back of the blade to keep the blade open during use. Force is required to assemble the knife. SlipJoint holds the wedge in both the folded and unfolded positions.
