8Cr13MoV - easy to sharpen, stainless knife steel, equivalent to japanese AUS-8 steel. High content 13.0% chromium (Cr) and average 0.8% carbon (C) provide excellent corrosion resistance, and the addition of the alloying elements molybdenum 0.30% (Mo), vanadium 0.25% (V) and nickel 0.20% (Ni) increase steel strength and wear resistance. 8Cr13MoV is characterized by high hardness in the range of 57-62 HRC.

Head - with a wide curved profile Leaf Shaped (leaf shape), thickness 3.1 mm provides excellent cutting edge geometry with low friction. The cutting edge was brought out with a ground full flat (Full Flat Grind). Plain blade Plain extends along the entire length of the blade, allowing powerful cuts. Blade made of stainless steel that holds sharpness well 8Cr13MoV (equivalent to Japanese AUS-8 steel) coated with a black, anti-reflective coating. Careful placement on the head of the enlarged 14 mm circular cutout SpyderHole (Spyderco patent) positions the hand to intuitively open the blade and simultaneously increases the hump of the thumb rest spine jimping. Handle - profiled in black. Bi-Directional textured non-slip facings Bi-Directional Texturing strengthen the grip, even with wet hands. Made of plastic FRN (Fiberglass Reinforced Nylon), glass fiber reinforced nylon. Metal hourglass clip with four-way clip positions (up/down, right/left) 4-way clip positions. In the back of the handle lanyard hole, cable hole.
