Stout FLK is a sturdy, compact and convenient folding knife characterized by high durability and very good balance. This model is ideal as an addition to EDC equipment, as it has all the characteristics of this type of knife.

Stout FLK:

The knife has a solid, well-known and proven frame Lock, which effectively prevents unwanted closing of the blade during operation. As a result, even during high-pressure operations, the knife guarantees safe and secure operation.

Created by enthusiasts

The Stout FLK model was created as fruit of cooperation between specialists from SOG company and well-known Danish knifemaker Mikkel Willumsen. Thanks to such cooperation, the common goal of creating a folder-type knife that is at the same time elegant, lightweight and adapted to the most difficult tasks was achieved.

Blade

The blade of the knife is made of d2 tool steel after cryogenic heat treatment and finishing with Stone Wash technique. As a result, the scratches created during use blend into the background and are not as visible as with a regular blade. The head is made of steel with a hardness of 58-60 HRC.

Stout FLK received clip Point shaped blade with a smooth cutting edge and notched back, allowing a stable thumb rest. The hole located in the blade makes it easier to open and acts as a relief. Smooth cutting edge provides perfect cuts, long-lasting sharpness and is easy to sharpen. The base of the blade has a special indentation on which to rest your index finger.

Frame Lock

Design frame Locks rests on a stainless steel spring plate, which is an integral part of the grip design. This element is quite thick and does not have a weak point, which is often the place of installation. Such a solution guarantees durability and solidly protects the blade from self-assembly during operation and possible injury to the user.

Handle

One side of the handle was made of stainless steel, while the other side has a cladding of lightweight G10 glass-epoxy laminate in Olive Green color. Made of G10 handle panel is lightweight and resistant to mechanical damage, temperature and moisture. The material guarantees a firm grip even when hands are wet and slippery. The contoured indentation improves comfort by serving as a support for the toe.
