EPS panel
Sleeping bags in the Snugpak Softie Elite line have a special ePS panel (expand panel system), which allows you to regulate the temperature and maintain comfort. The zippered EPS panel makes the sleeping bag thoroughly wrap around the body and provide superior thermal performance. With the EPS panel open, you get better ventilation and lower internal temperatures, as well as more freedom of movement. The unfastened panel can serve as a thick thermal strip.
The sleeping bag also has clips to shorten the length of the sleeping bag from 220 cm to 175 cm.
Technology
The Softie Elite line of sleeping bags uses patented, high-quality materials, which guarantee high usability, excellent thermal performance and durability of sleeping bags.
Filling - Softie - this filling was made of waxed fibers in different shapes. The fibers were then processed haphazardly to achieve a natural down effect, both in texture and thermal properties. Unlike natural fillings, Softie is washable and retains most of its heating properties when wet.
Outer material - Paratex Micro - durable, lightweight with high windproof and waterproof rating. Durable (heavy duty) densely woven material nice to the touch.
Inner fabric - Paratex Light - nice to the touch, lightweight material with high windproof and breathability, waterproof, wicks away moisture. Reflectatherm is designed to reflect heat and keep it inside the sleeping bag. The layer adds little grammage to the weight and only slightly affects compression capabilities. Instead, it increases the sensation of warmth by 15% and is virtually imperceptible to the touch.
The sleeping bag is equipped with a thermal collar and a two-way zipper. The sleeping bag is packed in a specialized bag, which allows very good compression, thanks to the size of the packed sleeping bag you can adjust and fit your equipment.
