Silky introduces a new, upgraded version of the saw popular in the bushcraft, survival, hunting and fishing communities. The aforementioned upgrade concerns the blade, which has an arched shape thanks to which the saw's efficiency has been increased, especially when we need to cut off a branch that is above our shoulders. Compared to traditional saws, work efficiency has been increased by up to 15-20%.

Blade

The Silky Pocketboy Curve 170-8 saw blade is manufactured from high-carbon SK4 steel precisely cut thanks to laser technology. The surface of the saw is chrome-plated, which protects it from rusting and the harmful effects of external factors. Once opened, the saw is secured against accidental folding thanks to a secure and strong locking mechanism that we can easily operate with our thumb.

The main advantage of Silky Pocketboy Curve 170-8 saws is the blade teeth, which are extremely sharp and hard thanks to four-plane grinding and induction hardening. Only the edges of the teeth are hardened, so the rest of the blade remains flexible. This is a huge advantage of Silky saws, which, thanks to their flexibility, are not prone to easy breakage like most cheaper folding saws. The cutting part of the saw is ground in the shape of an hourglass, thanks to which nhe possibility of locking the saw while cutting. The profile of the teeth reduces the resistance during cutting, and the material being cut is not jerked.

The Silky Pocketboy Curve 170-8 saw has a very comfortable handle made of durable and rubberized plastic. Handle material prevents the saw from slipping from the hand and provides comfortable and secure operation.

Saw is equipped with blade with a length of 170 mm. Per 30mm blade has 8 teeth. When the saw is folded, you get a compact tool that will fit into virtually any pocket. Silky Pocketboy Curve saws have interchangeable blades, available separately.
