Blade

Silky Bigboy 2000 Outback Edition 360-6.5 saw blade is manufactured from high-carbon steel precisely cut thanks to laser technology. The surface of the saw is covered with a black coating of a special mixture of nickel and tin which provides incredible durability of the blade making it ideal not only for cutting wood but also other harder materials. Once opened, the saw is secured against accidental folding thanks to a secure and strong locking mechanism that we can easily operate with our thumb.

The main advantage of the Silky Bigboy 2000 Outback Edition saws is the Mirai Me blade teeth with 4 cutting angles and induction hardening, which makes them extremely sharp and hard. Only the edges of the teeth are hardened, so the rest of the blade remains flexible. This is a huge advantage of Silky saws, which thanks to their flexibility are not prone to easy breakage, just like most of the cheaper folding saws. The cutting part of the saw is ground in an hourglass shape (tapered grind), so that there is no possibility of blocking the saw while cutting. The profile of the teeth reduces resistance during cutting, and the the material being cut is not jerked.

Handle

The Silky Bigboy 2000 Outback Edition 360-6.5 saw has a very comfortable handle made of durable and wood and plastic with Arbor technology, thanks to which the handle remains warm even at low temperatures, and the rough texture makes the the saw fits securely in your hand. The handle material prevents the saw from slipping from the hand and provides comfortable and secure work.

Saw is equipped with 360mm long blade. Per 30mm blade there are 6.5 teeth every makes such a saw great for sawing fresh boughs of wood as well as materials of higher hardness.
