Signal mirror - heliograph - is one of the simplest AND most effective methods for transmitting an SOS signal, and indicate your position. Perfect for survival situations and military operations. The signal mirror will also work well for transmitting light signals using moonlight or flashlights.
The signal mirror, thanks to its built-in lens that acts like a collimator, allows accurate aiming of the light beam at very long distances. The range of the light signal, depending on atmospheric conditions, in sunny weather, can be up to several tens of kilometers.
